Laasya Palicha holds BFA in Fashion Design, having graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art, Chicago. After collecting and presenting her senior year collection at the Richard Dreyfuss Fashion show in Chicago, she was regarded as an upcoming talent. With her empathy for learning new techniques, she developed an interest in the business of fashion. She studied the fashion industry while focusing on sustainable initiatives that would positively impact the production and distribution of apparel.

Laasya graduated from Morris Graduate School of Management with a major in Business administration and a minor in Finance in 2009. She then moved to New York and pursued a career in fashion and business management. She’s currently a brand management leader with 15 years of vast experience in Customer Experience, sales operations, Enablement, and, Data-driven leadership strategy with an unsurpassed work ethic.

Laasyas experience in the industry is evident from her excellency in successfully increasing sales and production, streamlining processes, and reducing costs while working with startup and global corporate organizations. She’s a competent and skilled relationship manager who establishes c-level relationships and navigates difficult conversations. She’s also known for her experience in training, management, cross-functional strategy development, and execution.

Besides these, she’s the owner and founder of a company specializing in the global distribution of premium saffron from Spain—selected saffron.

Laasya Palicha: Saffron

Saffron is one of the world’s renowned spices that’s derived from the stigmas of the Saffron flower. It’s bright yellowish-red in color. It takes about 150 flowers for the production of 1 gram of saffron. The stigmas are carefully handpicked. It’s used for spicing and colorizing global cuisine to add a delicate floral aroma. A few strands are enough to add color and flavor to an entire dish.

Saffrons Health Benefits

Saffrons contain antioxidants, a source of minerals like copper, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc. They are also rich in vitamin A, folic acid, riboflavin, niacin, and vitamin C, which have some associated health benefits. Saffron may lead to improved eyesight, boost memory, reduce muscle pains, regulate blood sugar levels, and prevent cancer, amongst other health benefits.
