Learn more to become familiar with the ESTA questions for 2022, which you’ll be asked in the ESTA application form, and the reasons to be ready when the time arrives.

What is an ESTA?

This is a mandatory document for citizens of countries in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) planning to travel to the United States. It allows traveling without going through the entire procedure of applying for a visa, which saves everyone’s time and cost.

It’s just enough for the Department of Homeland Security authorities to determine whether you are at risk for U.S. public safety, whether your travels are legal or if you’ve got intentions of staying in the country or working illegally.

Most people won’t have difficulty with this process as it is pretty simple compared to getting a visa. The majority of ESTA applications are accepted in about 20 minutes. However, it is suggested to apply at a minimum of 72 hours before your departure to avoid any last-minute anxiety. You won’t be able to travel without a valid ESTA!
